Poem for her 934

Time change

Happened every spring

As well as every fall

Hard

If we didn't have clocks

It'd have been better

Oh so the sun came up

Neato

Calling folks over time zones

Harder still

Neither one of us liked those time change weeks

We put our paints to good use

Never looked at a clock

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.

Poem for her 933

444

The clock read

I pointed it out

She sighed

Not again her face said

I smiled

The first time was long ago

In a land far away

I smiled again

Took her picture

Then we left for the diner

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
