Poem for her 874

Dear Readers,

Rain and Shine

The rain was just stopping
They had been in the art studio
Most of the week
Most of the time
Mostly there

Wonderful she mentioned once
How the studio had a Murphy bed
Hiding there in plain sight
Hiding there just there
Right over there
I can't tell you where
She keeps moving it

I haven't a clue where it is now
Well I do
I designed it
To store away as a
Hidden feature
Of a designer's studio

She designs things
I design things
We are both artists
She and I have lots of traits
She and I are good at
Together
Or apart
We are always
Best
At Home

Always
and
Forever

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.

Poem for her 873

Dear Readers,

Twelve trips out west

The first year we went on a trip out west
Was to see an aunt
The next was to see a boat we were building
The next was to set sail
The 3rd was for a gathering of picnicers
The 4th hasn't happened yet

The others are on a little note book
There was the card makers convention
It was held out west as well
So many things out west
Someone asked if we'd been doing thing out east

Well yes
We do art shows
There was that picnic that one June
It took 3 weeks
...okay it was also a camping trip
That one wasn't one day long
It was just fun
No planning

Planning is okay
Just going is a bit better
Packing a basket full
Keeping it handy
Making use of storage
And pillow
Just going
Knowing when you get there
The sun will shine again
Holding her hand as we walk
Makes all the difference

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
