Poem for her 905

 Stroll

There was the History of Houses walk

Then the soft seashore stepping stones

Over yonder by the railroad tracks place

In a parking lot looking at plants

The grocery store was fun for picnic supplies

Hand in hand

Slow walks in the roadside paths

Life in the garden center with the pools

The daily walks when the weather is nice

Keep the picnic basket handy

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.

Poem for her 904

 Picnic

By the Grove of fruit trees we planted

Or over by the spring

Or out by the art cottage

Oh there is that place on the road to town

The places we could picnic many

Soon as the snows melt

Soon as spring arrives

Soon as we pack the basket

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.

Poem for her 903

 Line dry

The clothes line was short

Yet long

The poles were many

The wind in this section constant

There was almost always a breeze

Spring could be cold

Yet summer hotter than normal

We even hung clothes out in the winter

Yet for rainy or snowy days there was another

Warm room in the art house

We'd have to be careful

No spray paints with clothes up

Or was that just an art project

Line dry spray paint T-shirts

Sailing through the breezes

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
