Cool Weather and Kitchen Refits

After a summer of hot days it is nice to see the nights going to the cool side, but it does make laying tile in your kitchen a bit of a problem. We did not move the fresh tiles inside last night and they were brittle this morning being so cold. The oil based kind of tiles, them being cheaper and more managable than stone or ceramics.

It has been a bad year for the Black Walnut production, only about 3 nuts on the whole tree, But the pecan in the front yard has over a dozen nuts on it, which bodes well for the future. It is just starting to get into its fruiting years.

One of these days I might get around to telling you how the Squirrels From Space story went.
