Poem for her 129

Dear Readers,

Flowers

Roses are there in the vase by the bed
Roses are petals in the tea cup
Roses are petals in the salad
Roses are pressed in pages and books

Irises are all over the back yard of the
City house
Cabin in the woods
Other people's yards
Places we seeded them
Irises are in vases in the kitchen

Never forgotten
Never forgotten
Never forgotten

Full of flowers flowing down hills
Full Leaf piles and sixty cameras clicking
Full of your scent in my hair
Full of the power of your thought

Never forgotten
Never forgotten
Never forgotten

Violets all over the place in the beds and
In your hair and on your shoulder
And in the salad we are going to eat
Kiwi too but slow and Mango too
Kiss your hand
Never Forgotten
Ever

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
