Poem for her 120

Dear Readers,

Springtime

Porch swings and Her
Planting things in the garden together
Trying not to mow the grass
Telling her that, Yes she can mow soon
Spring flowers change to spring salads
Airing out the winter linens
Walks down to the lake, to do some fishing
Marshmallows on a bonfire out the side door
Last spring frost so the coats have to stay out
Cuddling by that last spring fire
Snuggling the nights and afternoons away
Sunning the paints to dry on art projects
Eggs sunny side up, then splatting over the toast
Yolk everywhere, as she smiles at the event
Springtime in her arms
Always fun

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
