Dear Readers,



Saturday Afternoon


She sat there wondering what he was doing
He sat there wondering what she was doing
They were in different locations that day
He picked up the phone and then put it down
She picked up the phone and then put it down
He took a breath and then looked at the clock
She took a breath and then looked at the clock
How much longer would it be till the line would end
Wanting just to snuggle in close to each other
But one was off buying something they both wanted
But the line was long and the wait was too
Suddenly the door opened and he was there
She looked up and paused her dialing
Off to the couch they went to
Snuggle the Saturday Afternoon away
