Poem for her 499
Dear Readers,
Red
Read you a poem yesterday
Thought I saw you sigh
Then the slow twist of belt loops
Pulled you close to me
The sigh was extended
The black on black checked
The soft skin too
The kiss at nape of neck
The sweet taste of fig
The sound of the knock
Door opened
Kiss
Kiss with that bounce
The bounce you do
When you first see me
Want to spring close
The kiss that lasts
The red in your shirt
The red we talked about
The reading of one more poem
The sliding of hands
Under the shirt
Warming them
Kiss me again Babe
Kiss me
I read
Happy Birthday Babe,
Charles.
