Dear Readers,



The long spring drive


The year we got in the car and drove to the beach
The beach in the west coast way out west
We live in the woods out toward the east
So this drive was a long one and in spring
So also in the areas it was winter still
The car packed with gear and the maps and picnic basket
The days were a bit of driving a bit of stopping
A bit of picnic and lots of vacation
The nights were stops in places many some friends
Some hotels, motels and one a cabin in a park
The vacation took us almost a month
There and back again but it wasn't really long
Just a slice of our time on the vacation side
The beach was nice though and it had a sunset
Bright then colors and then and then things
The night and days had kisses and hugs and
