Poem for her 496

Dear Readers,

That afternoon

The clouds were full of snow
The road into town steep
The place new to me
The face as well
The hands too
The car was almost grey
The sky brightened
There you were
Go see you
See the blonde hair
The glasses off
The eyes bright
The face
The kiss
The little hand shiver
Was it cold
Was it snowing
I don't know
I was warmed
By you

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
