Poem for her 492
Dear Readers,
Snow day
Straighten and tuck the edges of the shirt
The day says weather of snow and rain ucky
Just give her sunshine and a few clouds
The winter is getting a bit much it's almost june
Okay not yet june but soon it will be may
The snow days are still here and the sun not
Sun shine for my babe we ask so spring leads on
The summer sun might be a little chilled still
The sweater is still part of the clothes setup
The hanger just the on the hook it held a wet T
The day we washed the car it was summer bright
And hot out then the snows came a day away
The fireplace is asking when it will rest
The snow shovel too wants to be put up
The spring flowers look about for a spring day
Look out yonder west the sun is shining and
Waiting to kiss your lips once again
I lean over and hand you a Hot mint tea
And ask for this last snowfall dance
Happy Birthday Babe,
Charles.
