Poem for her 491

Dear Readers,

Spring Freezes

Burr the flowers say as the frost hits them
The bunnies burrow back in dens and get a coat
The sweaters don't get put up just yet
We want full spring to be here but cold lingers
The cuddles last longer in the morning
Both of us not wanting to get out of the warmth
The nights we build a fire a bit deep and full
It lasts most of the night to be warm still at dawn
Dances slow in the night as we drift toward the fire
The soft glow of the fire the only light
The soft sounds of the crackle and the music
The slow dancing we do to our own beat
Glow the steps we take in the hour before bed
Then the long snuggles till the night sounds make
The dreams of summer sunshine waiting
Just around the frosted corner year
Want to cuddle the night through the summer
Let's just hibernate till then and sleep a while

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
