Poem for her 251
Dear Readers,
Porch swings in Red,
She sits there looking out to the yard
The porch swing is the first she has sat on
In the travels to this state
We wanted to pick a good setting
To take pictures of her hands
The nails in a new shade
The Red is of her shirt and the nails
Some shade that matches a flower in the garden
She asked me one day what should she wear
And I said red
And then again she asked me
For a new place the new photo shoot
And I said Red
So she is reading this in the days ahead
To remind her
She heard Red
And the photo in the scrap book is labeled
Her in red and on porch swing
Happy Birthday Babe,
Charles.
