Poem for her 258

Dear Readers,

Thoughts on a Tuesday

She is sitting in a chair facing me
Hands in her hair telling me to stare
As she tells me the story of
How she is going to share
That big bowl of sliced strawberries

She is sitting at a table
Her ankles up on my knees
My hands on them as I look at
Her sitting across from me
The game is not played as we sit

She is sitting on the porch swing
She is thinking of the things
She said to me this morning
We could tell you what they were
But we are going to let you guess

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
