Poem for her 326
Dear Readers,
Cap Nine
The boy handed the girl a book
It's title read
Cap Nine
But was not that in the second line
Capacity 9
That line read
Well it stated it
Red letters both lines
They were in the Library
He was happy
The girl was there
They'd been there it seemed
Every day of their short lives
The lines
In the book were long
The lines on their faces too
They were old by most standards
The library
Was theirs
In their town
On their way to and fro
They weren't and they were
The oldest in town
The youth of the ages
They were always
They were forever
Young at heart
Blue and Green glasses
And bikes too
The Pillow always handy
In the car today
They were going
Tripping out thata way
Happy Birthday Babe,
Charles.
