Poem for her 316

Dear Readers,

Slumber

When it is afternoon and we still have to go
When the evening away is running long
When it is morning and we have to go places
When all we want to do is stay at home
But something is up and we have to go out
The thought of just laying back arms on each other
Drifting off to naps and that slumber
Of not having to go anywhere and staying home
We might not sleep all our home time away
But no rush, rush about to do things faster
We like an easy steady pace or slow and steady
Sliding fingers into her belt loops and dancing
Pulling those PJ's over her legs and arms
Off to the chair beside the bed and cuddle with her
Long slumber into the time we have on into the days

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
