Poem for her 703

Dear Readers,

The book club two

There in the stamp sized town
The library was built
Some odd out of the way place
A corner of town
With a park and benches
There in a corner
Inside
The book club met
The folks there liked books
The stories on napkins and leaves
The trees talked and the cats too
Kids liked the bench slides
Adults too
There were many people that read
Some even in red
The couple had a hand in it
It was a dream they had
Long ago
In a library far away
On a day just like this
When the sun was up
The skies full of stars
The club met whenever
A book was opened and someone read out loud
Then the story goes
On till next day
Hello club folks
This is a tale
Told to you readers too

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
