Poem for her 701
Dear Readers,
The snow day
We took a snow day
Didn't go to the library
We stayed home
The fire was warm
The snow covered the cars
Even though they had roofs over them
The snow was deep
No shovels we used
If it snowed to much
We stayed home
The library in town our pet
They had folks to stock the books
We just hung out and read
They have books on tape
Some of ours too
They have a park
Out by the trees
Near the pond
Where the geese swim
We took a snow day
We stayed in bed
Happy Birthday Babe,
Charles.
