Poem for her 696

Dear Readers,

Cones with ice cream

The frozen days of winter
The ice cream mixer on the porch
Extra cold with sweets
The treats of winter minty fresh
There would be these in summer too
The winter chill the sweets fill
Soft serve and hard scoops
The treats for you and me
The cookies we bake
The Ice cream in cone make
There is that live tree with ice
The snow piled deep no step made
The snowed in feeling
Taken away with the sledding
Or was it the day making snow angels
Sometimes the fire place pops with corn
Other's its the logs with resin
Then the pancake for supper and waffles too
The winter could be gloomy without you
Sunshine making the day glow
As I see you slow dance with me today

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
