Poem for her 534

Dear Readers,

The kiss

The dawn kissed the sky with yellows and golds
The stars were just fading off to the west
The soft lips of the night before warmed you
They slid down your shoulder bare lightly
The covers just slowing them slightly
The slow ebb of breath caught as you wake
The turn of shoulder under their touch
The face of morning still asleep and calm
The kissing goes on and on the wakefulness aware
Stirring the colors of the dawn to a glow
The sheets still cover us but our lips aware
That morning has arrived and we kiss long

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
