Poem for her 511

Dear Readers,

Driving in the rain

Stop if you have to
Think seriously do we have to go
If we do, let us take it slow
If we don't Thank God we get to stay in
Oh yeah Thank God if we have to go too
There is that thanking God for whatever
There that trip has to be
Then we get the rain gear
The picnic basket gets raided
The stuff to keep us warm
There in the back of the car or van
There is the kisses at the door
The sprint to the car
The ugh we made it
Just a bit soaked
The prayer before we even move
There is the kiss and the slow
Slow getting going
The day hopefully is short
While out in the rain
I hope you know
I would drive easy
Or ride easy
With you there
With you there always
Steady state of you

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
