Poem for her 445

Dear Readers,

Rain Days

The want to just grab you and cuddle
To crank the stereo up loud and hear you sing
The need to drown out the rain just a bit
The dry inside while the outside swims
The green house is not so bad but no sun
The days fade on and we wonder when flowers open
This bit of the last shower of the month
Oh look it's the last day of the month
More again the first day too
The art work is in wood and carving
So the paints can dry in the summer
And the seed packs over there with a puzzle
The days still a bit damp and the wonder of pools
I want to dance a bit and let you sing
But want to cuddle in front of the fire too
So we make hot cocoa and do all four things in order
The dawn we see brings the sun for just a bit
And we sleep in and have eggs later

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
