Dear Readers,



Tea for You


The hot tea and the light snack was for after
The thing you were doing was killing a monster
The game was one we both played but today just you
The tea and snack was for you after the duel
The monster was hard to vanquish but they fell
The hands still shaking from the intensity
I fed the snack to you and smiled
You got the tea and sipped and smiled
The day was a special one, a goal made, hard fought
The days ahead a bit easier, though not all
The tea and snack a restive bit handy for you
Got to keep my warrior lady cared for
You are going for a goal and it is a long one
By your side and handy with a glass of wine to relax
I'll be here always handing you the paint brush
For the next art project we do in the garden
