Poem for her 517

Dear Readers,

The Puzzle

The piece was just there on the floor
You picked it up and put it on the table
The curtain was open and the window too
The breeze was a bit stiff just then
And the piece of the puzzle lifted off
Flying just a little bit toward the edge
And flipping to the floor it landed
The puzzle was just getting started
We'd not even gotten the edges done
Then the breeze moved a few more pieces
The look on your face said umm Window
And I moved to close it with a smile
The knowing what you think when you do
Is that special puzzle piece we share
The knowledge that you there is soothing
Words at times are just a look and sigh
The sigh of you takes my breath and gives
Me that big slice of heaven when I see you
Hear you, Touch you, Kiss you, and say

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
