Poem for her 455
Dear Readers,
Eggs and Toast
The phone rang and the Love flowed
The breakfast was planned and good buys listed
The door knock and opened and kisses
The camera scans the room and we see
Toast on plate, white handled spreader
The butter in a bowl and the blue note book
Pen handy and the scene changes
The laughter heard but no faces seen
Hardly any body edges in the camera eye
The hands do appear and the laughter to
The voices as well male and female
The crunches and oohs and ahhs
The Song of foot steps and then
The soft sounds of a kiss
Happy Birthday Babe,
Charles.
