Poem for her 379

Dear Readers,

Blown Kiss

There you are in the car blowing me a kiss
There you are in a photo in the scrapbook
There you are at the table in the park
There you are setting up the lights on a tree
Turning to see me, blowing me a kiss
The lips soft and then the out going breath
The sigh heard when up close soft and deep
I hold your hand and pull you near
I twine a finger in your belt loop
The window framed the snow outside cool
The coat you have on one we got that summer
The card with kiss sealed flap on the shelf
The blue note book opened to a page with ink pen
The drawing youv'e made still fresh and damp ink
The kiss drawn and the hand just so and I smile

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
