Poem for her 367

Dear Readers,

Meow,

The large cat moved onto the bed
You had been calling him for a while
Seems he was over by the window looking out
Mew Mew meeew He said as his head hit your left hand
Mew purrrr purrrr as you rubbed his ear
He settled down for a long petting
Curling bed sheets in the kneading pull
Claws out claws in, the kneading pull
Mews settles low and the claws
They were on your hip and upper leg
You were playing a game he did not watch
Content to lay next to you and purr
Then as the night wore on you got tired
And the game was set aside and he lay
About where he was when this started
You turned the other light off
And said Night night love
And the large cat said

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
