Poem for her 786

Dear Readers,

Rainbow paints

The text said
Wear a rainbow
I am sure she did
Which color she picked
I have some guesses
Over there in the vase
Flowers picked
Over here on the table
Flowers in a salad
Colors of the rainbow
Many more in the jars and tubs
By the paint section
Over yonder in the forest
Still more colors
Spring showing the span of color
I tug on her belt loops
Draw her near
Think to her a thought or two
She sighs
She giggles
The edges of my day
Vanish
Only her in my vision

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
