Poem for her 303

Dear Readers,

Summers in the woods

The summer never seem to end these days
They go on and on into the fall
That is why the Outdoor shower gets a lot of use
That is also why we do most of the cooking
Out in the summer Kitchen under the eaves
Over by the tables on the porch
Where we built a small area that
Has picnic like greenery and places to eat
Sit or just be with the cool breezes
Not always a shaded area but that is why
Trees grow so well and fast
Shade comes from leaves and breezes push
Summer further into fall and the rains
Of fall come and visit and we sit outside
Waiting for the harvest to bloom
Waiting for the time we like several days
To dust the sky with the end of summer

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
