Notes


Numbers from a card game
You winning a drawing contest
The recipe we were making
Books are filled with notes
Some on napkins others on boxes
Pencil and pens even a few with paints
The wire rimmed flowers drawn out
Where to get supplies for projects
More notes than notepads
How to kiss while on a train
The note read in pink lip stick
There on a pillow case
Was an art project Idea
I looked at the note and smiled
We'd taken that train ride
The pillow case was ours
The lip stick we'd bought
The color pink like the roses
Also on the pillow case
A paper note said
Kissing on a train took days
We didn't want to stop for meals
