Poem for her 767

Dear Readers,

Flowers in her hair

The spring flower show in town
The dusting of flowers we put in a vase
Took a few out
There in the band on her head
They show off blue
The color of her eyes
I took a few photos
She smiled yet turned just so
There the hint of glee
No photo of me
She thought as the shutter clicked
There on the note card
On the scrap book page
Date and time
The flower show forgot
Kissed her a lot
Never left the house

Happy Birthday Babe,

Charles.
