Poem for her 288
Dear Readers,
We Hug
On the dance floor where ever that is
We stand there face to face and sway
But I like to be barefoot
Then again so does she
We are a pair that way
The shower face to face
The morning dew and the tea for two
But put in a single cup
The single plate of food
One fork at times, sometimes two
We do things together and dance
The swing of the hips and the feet bare
She loves the calm when my hand touches
The calm returned when my hand finds her
There as we connect sitting
On the park bench as always there
Forever connected never apart
Happy Birthday Babe,
Charles.
